Start training without getting injured: a basic guide
If you haven't exercised for a while, these tips will help you get off on the right foot, avoid injuries and keep up the training habit.

Getting moving again is one of the best decisions you can make. The key is to start gradually so your body can adapt.
Start with an assessment
Knowing where you're starting from (mobility, strength, previous discomfort) lets us adapt the exercises from day one. That's why at Tana the first class includes an assessment.
Less is more at the start
Two or three sessions a week are enough to start with. It's better to finish wanting more than exhausted.
Technique before weight
Learning to move well is what will let you progress safely.
Rest and sleep
Your body adapts while it rests. Sleeping well is training too.
Find a training buddy
Training in a group or with a professional makes it easier to stay consistent.
